INTARSIA

Intarsia is the art of creating images from individually selected and shaped pieces of wood. Each piece is chosen for its colour, grain and character, then carefully cut, carved and assembled to bring the design to life.  Every finished artwork is unique, with the natural beauty of the wood playing an important part in the final result.

Many of the patterns used in my work are created by talented pattern designers. I am proud to acknowledge their creativity and give credit to their original designs.
