The Guitar Legends Collection

Telling the story of legendary instruments

Every legendary guitarist has a story. But behind every legend is a guitar that helped shape music history. My goal isn't simply to recreate famous musicians in wood—it's to preserve the legendary instruments that inspired generations of players

Why these guitars matter

Every piece in this collection honors a guitar that earned its place in music history. Blackie. Lucille. Micawber. Number One. These weren't simply instruments—they became extensions of the artists who played them.

Each one is reimagined as a handcrafted wood art piece: a 25" × 11" shadow box featuring a museum-scale guitar likeness — roughly one-third the size of the real instrument — built from carefully selected woods, alongside an engraved portrait of the artist and their story. These are art pieces for the wall, not playable instruments, but every detail is faithful: the worn finishes, the engraved logos, even the proportions of the original.

Every piece begins months before the first cut of wood. I research the history of the musician, study the instrument from every angle, choose woods that match its character, and reproduce every detail I can capture in miniature. The goal isn't to build a guitar — it's to preserve a piece of music history in wood, at a scale meant for display.
